Portfolio - Ron Mack Machinery
I started as full time internal graphic designer to Ron Mack Machinery in November of 2006 shortly after moving to Perth.
This turned out to be a great opportunity to both rapidly advance my skill set in print design plus work with some very industrious marketing and sales people.
Initial work required the finish/re-design of partly completed 36 page full colour catalogues for both the Woodwork and Metalwork range of machinery plus regular magazine advertisements in a range of industry publications. I also played a key role in the setup of our stands at a number of exhibitions in both Melbourne and Sydney.
In addition, the position allowed me to continue my passion for photography so we soon acquired a decent camera and flash equipment thus taking over most of the product photo requirements.
Next on the agenda was the complete re-build of the website. My past experience in the development of CMS driven websites was ideally suited to this task as was my knowledge of Adwords and Internet Marketing. The site is now very well indexed by search engines and continues to grow as an increasingly important part of the marketing strategy.
While I am now venturing out (late Sep. 2009) as an independent designer I will endeavour to keep running the RMM design account as a core client to my business.

Wine Label for Christmas 2008. I designed this label which we had printed and placed on around 20 dozen bottles of 'clean-skin' reds which were delivered to customers.
