Mountain Ash Coffee Table (2003)

A little unusual with it's three legs I guess this is one coffee table that's not designed to be sat on.

Made from 30mm thick Mountain Ash, Jarrah, stainless steel and glass. The glass shelf is supported at one end by two s/s pins and tapers down to about 180mm wide at the single leg. The legs are connected to the top with a wide s/s plate - the outer screw holes slotted to allow for some expansion.

I finished the table with a non-yellowing water based product to highlight the natural colour of the different timbers.
